Heitz Nets Hat Trick as Surging Roadrunners' Men's Soccer Rolls Past CC Morris for Third Straight Win

Freshman Noah Heitz scored three goals, including the first two of the game, while adding an assist to lead the Roadrunner Men's Soccer team to an easy 7-1 triumph over host County College of Morris Friday in Region 19 action. The win was the third straight for Coach George Hobbins' team.

Heitz received assists on his goals from Jerry Green, Gilmer Mendoza, and Robert Pionthowski. Mendoza finished with three assists and added a goal.

Additional goal scorers were Piontkowski, Lucas Frye, and Bayly Nashed. The Runners built a 5-0 lead before the Titans' Keenan Harper scored their lone goal in the second half.

Goalkeepers Lucien Maslin and Jason Coburn combined to stop seven shots to register the win.

The Runners improved to 6-3 overall and 5-2 in the conference. Next up will be a road game at Montgomery County CC on Tuesday, Sept. 26.
