The Roadrunner Men's Soccer team opens the Region 19 playoffs Tuesday afternoon when they host Northampton Community College in a 2 pm start in Deptford. The Roadrunners look to advance to the North Atlantic District B finals. The Runners recently completed their regular season with a 12-3-1 overall record.

The Roadrunner Men's Soccer team hopes to extend their impressive 2023 campaign when they host Northampton CC Tuesday, Oct. 24, in a Region 19 North Atlantic District B semifinal game.

The Runners, who recently entered the NJCAA Division III Top 10 rankings in the No. 10 position, enter the contest with a 12-3-1 overall record and a 10-game unbeaten streak.

The Spartans arrive in Deptford with a 7-6-1 record after upsetting Montgomery, 2-1, last weekend in an opening-round match.

"All of the teams in our region are talented, so we are expecting a tough match in our first-round game," said Runners' head coach George Hobbins. "We finished the regular season strong and we hope to carry the momentum into the playoffs."

Leading goal scorers for the Runners this season were Noah Heitz, Robert Piontkowski and Gilmer Mendoza while freshman Lucien Maslin will handle goalkeeper duties.

The winner will advance to the North Atlantic District B finals on Oct. 28th to play either Prince George's County or Ocean County College.
