Roadrunners Unleash Offense in Sweep of Delaware County in Home Opener

Sluggers Alex Gattinelli and Anthony Angelino launched back to back home runs to highlight a 10-run third inning as the Roadrunners roared to a 30-0 victory over Delaware County Community College and a sweep of Thursday afternoon's home doubleheader.

Gattinelli connected on a long three-run shot, followed by Angelino's solo blast as RCGC built a commanding 14-0 lead.

Freshman hurler Joe Marino earned the victory as the Runners improved their overall record to 4-1.

Coach Rob Valli's team rolled to a 14-3 triumph in Game 1. Centerfielder Lorenzo Morello cracked a home run while his teammates raced to a 4-0 first inning lead.

Freshman Matt Stil was credited wuth the vicory.

RCGC hosts ASA College in a doubleheader on Saturday starting at 12 noon before hosting Lehigh Carbon CC in a twinbill on Sunday.
