No. 1 seed Roadrunner Baseball will take part in the Region 19 Division III Championship Finals this afternoon when they meet No. 2 Brookdale in a 12 noon start at the Rutgers-Camden Athletic Center. If necessary, Game 2 of the finals series will take place at 3 pm.

The Runners must win both game to defend their Region title successfully in this double elimination tournament. A Brookdale win in either game gives the Jersey Blues the crown and an automatic berth in the NJCAA Division III World Series. The Runners ousted Salem CC, 16-0, in an elimination game Friday evening. 4

The Roadrunners, who enter with a 48-5 overall record, are the two-time defending NJCAA Division III National Champions.

Location: Rutgers-Camden Athletic Complex

Participating Teams: RSCJ Gloucester (No. 1), Brookdale Community College (No. 2), RCSJ Cumberland (No. 3), Salem Community College (No. 4)

Format: Double Elimination

Spectator Policy: Spectators will be allowed at the event. Masking and distancing will be required and some areas of the bleachers will be reserved for teams/event staff.
Spectator Parking: All spectators should park in Main Lot on campus and walk to field. Portable toilets will be available at the field.

Thursday, May 15:

12 Noon  Game 1 - No. 1 RCSJ-Gloucester vs. No. 4 Salem CC 
Final: Salem 6, RCSJ-Gloucester 5 (12 innings) 

3 pm Game 2 - No. 2  Brookdale CC vs. No. 3 RCSJ Cumberland 
Final: Brookdale 9, RCSJ Cumberland 8

6 p.m. Game 3 - RCSJ-Gloucester vs. RCSJ Cumberland
Final: RCSJ-Gloucester 12, RCSJ Cumberland 1 (5 innings) 

Friday, May 16

12 Noon Game 4 -- No. 2 Brookdale vs. No. 4 Salem CC
Final: Brookdale 12, Salem CC 2 (5 innings)

3 pm Game 5 -- No. 1 RCSJ Gloucester  1vs. Loser of Game 4
