Second baseman Tommy Gibson (Williamstown) and centerfielder Lorenzo Morello (Washington Twp.) slammed home runs as the Roadrunners opened up an early lead and cruised to a 12-2 victory over visiting Camden County College on March 12.

Gibson finished with three hits, including a pair of doubles, and five RBIs on the day while Morello collected three hits and one RBI to lift the Runners (6-1 overall) to the win. Shortstop Jose Correa (LEAP Academy) also chipped in with two hits and two RBIs.

The Runners jumped out to a 3-0 first inning lead and extended the advantage to 8-0 entering the eighth inning, 

Winning pitcher Erick Duran (Passaic) scattered four hits and struck out eight to improve his record to 2-0 in the 2020 season. Starter Jack Billings (St. Augustine Prep) allowed two hits and struck out six hits in three innings of work.
