
Joe Maier and Kai Hutchins drove in late runs to help Roadrunner Baseball rally for a 2-1 win over visiting Camden CC in Game 1 of a doubleheader Saturday. Winning pitcher Zack Wallace surrendered 2 hits and struck out 5.
The Runners rolled to a Game 2 triumph, 13-3. as Hutchins and Gavin West knocked in 3 runs each. Landon Edwards scattered four hits and struck out 7 over four innings to earn the Game 2 triumph.
RCSJ improved to 6-0 overall with the sweep. Next for Coach Rob Valli's team will be a home game vs. Rosemont College on Monday, March 3, in a 2:30 pm start.
