Charlotte, NC – Following the recommendations from the NJCAA Presidential Advisory Council and the NJCAA Board of Regents, the NJCAA has announced its adjusted plan of action for the upcoming 2020-21 academic year. Following the Board of Regents’ vote on Monday, a majority of competition will be moved to the spring semester.

Sophomores Adam Hunt and Edgar Rosa each won individual national championships Friday to boost the Roadrunner Men's Track team into the team lead after two days in the NJCAA Divsion III National Championships in Utica, NY.
The Roadrunner men's and women's track and field teams raced to solid starts during Thursday's opening of the NJCAA Division III National Championships at Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, NY. Sophomore Mike Dowd emerged as national champion in the men's 3000 meter steeplechase while women's standout Elisia Lancaster set a new national record in winning the women's hammer throw.
The RCGC men's and women's track teams return this weekend to the site of one of the program's greatest moments, and is hoping history will repeat itself. Coach Ryan Hughes' program captured the NJCAA Men's Division III National Championship in Spring 2018 while the women claimed the No. 2 overall spot in their team race, with field events specialist Elisia Lancaster won three individual national titles. The men were led by returnee Adam Hunt, who won a pair of national titles in the field events.
It was a day for the top female college athletes in the nation to show their colors at the 125th Penn Relays on April 25th. Representing the Rowan College at Gloucester County Roadrunners were two of the most prolific field athletes in school history, Elisia Lancaster (Delsea) and Emily Hilt (Kingsway).

The RCGC Track and Field teams faced the full gamut of April weather this weekend at the Osprey Open hosted by Stockton University, but displayed strong performances once again. The teams were able to return home with 28 NJCAA National qualifying performances, a slew of top 10 finishes in the meet and a new school record for the third week in a row.
Roadrunner Track and Field had a fun filled weekend of events as they competed in the Towson Invitational in Towson, MD. The weather turned out to be perfect for the second weekend in a row and definitely helped to spur some fine performances. The teams returned home with 21 NJCAA National Qualifying performances and another shattered school record.

The RCGC men's and women's track teams proved Saturday why they once again belong among the top NJCAA programs in the country. In the annual Stockton Invitational, both the men's and womnen's teams turned in stellar performances against four-year NCAA programs, looking very much like the top junior college program in the nation.

The RCGC track and field teams recently embarked on a journey they have not taken in 30 years... participation in an official indoor track season. The teams have embraced this new opportunity as a chance to get the competitive juices flowing early following the most outstanding season on the programs history last year. The defending national champion men's team and the national runner-up women's team sent a few individuals to the Collegeville Classic hosted by Ursinus College last weekend and came home with some impressive performances.
