The RCGC Men's Soccer team will host Montgomery County College on Wednesday, October 25 in a Region XIX semifinal contest starting at 2:30 pm. Coach George Hobbins' Roadrunners are currently the fourth seed in the tournament and had a first-round bye as they take on No. 5 Montgomery, which advanced to the semifinals with a 3-1 win over Northampton County College on Saturday.

Featuring a lineup with younger players, the Roadrunners got off to a slow 0-3 start, but picked up the pace as the season progressed to finish 10-6-1 overall and 8-4-1 in Region XIX action.  RCGC is led by sophomore goalkeeper Chris Lenahan, along with a talented lineup of freshmen players, including Dylan Skidmore, Alejandro Rivera, Zach Piro, Zach Bille, Ryan Pote, Rob Andrews, and Paolo D'Alessandro among others.

"The younger players worked hard and received some great guidance on the field this year from our goalkeeper Chris Lenahan," Coach Hobbins said recently. "It took us awhile to get to know each other's tendencies​, but we've made a lot of progress."

In other Regional action Tuesday, No. 1 seed Camden County College will host Brookldale Community College while Ocean County College visits Sussex County. Both games begin at 2:30 p.m.
