Freshman Owen Daily scored a second-half unassisted goal to help the Roadrunner Men's Soccer team salvage a 1-1 tie with Montgomery County College in a match played at Total Turf Experience on Thursday.

Daily delivered a laser shot past Mustangs' goalkeeper Joe Romano at 71:00 to knot the score. Montgomery grabbed a 1-0 first-half lead on an unassisted goal by Chinonyerem Ahukanna with 2:00 remaining in the first half.

The tight defensive battle continued in the second half as Montgomery's Romano and Roadrunner goalie Joe Lomas turned back shot after shot while both defenses performed well.

Next up for the Runners is a road match at Raritan Valley Saturday in a 1 pm start.
