Joe Romano and Juan Gallardo each scored clutch goals in the second half, helping the Roadrunner Men's Soccer team rally for a 2-1 triumph over visiting County Collge of Morris Saturday afternoon in a key Region 19 battle.
After the Titans' Matthew McClosky netted an early first half goal to his the visitors, a 1-0 lead that lasted through halftime, the Runners staged their comeback.
Romano, who received an assist from Jerry Green, tied it at 1-1 register the victory. with his goal at 52:00. Gallardo, with an assist from Owen Daily, then delievered the game winner at 64:00 for the final of 2-1.
Jason Coburn and Joe Lomas split goaltender duties to register the win.
Next up for the Runners will be a home match Tuesday vs. Salem Community College ina 3:30 pm kickoff.
