Collazo Leads Offensive Attack as Roadrunner Men's Soccer Routs County College of Morris

Roadrunner Men's Soccer Coach George Hobbins hopes his team has turned a corner in the scoring department.

In their 10-0 win over County College of Morris on Saturday, several players continued their offensive output as RCSJ won its second straight contest. Angel Collazo, John Young and Matt Lillia scored two goals each to help the Runners out to a commanding 7-0 halftime lead, never looking back.

This continued a recent pattern in which Hobbins' team rolled to an 8-2 triumph over RCSJ Cumberland on Sept. 17th, with Collazo also netting a pair of goals in that victory.

"We have some talented players and they realize it's time to start showing it on the offensive side of the ball," said Coach Hobbins. "Angel (Collazo) has scored in four straight games and some others are picking up the pace, so we're starting to show some encouraging signs."

Also scoring for the Runners were Noah Heitz, Germaine Okeke, Dylan Kodama, and Broudleyton Calcinot as the Runners improved to 3-4-1 overall.

Next up will be an away match at Union College in a 6:30 pm start on Tuesday, Sept. 24th.
