Freshman guard Qeiajae Canty (Atlantic City) scored 19 points, including 15 in the first half, while sophomore Kadina Harris-Hood (Atlantic City) added 15 to lead the Roadrunner women's basketball team to a 73-66 victory over Bryant & Stratton (NY) in the season opener on Saturday.

Sophomore guard Nikita Acker (Triton) added 9 points to help spark the offensive effort.

The win took place in the Onondago Community College Tournament. The Runners will meet Onondaga CC Sunday in a 12 noon start.
