No. 6 Roadrunner Women Claim Easy Home Win Over Ocean County to Improve to 13-1

Sophomore guard Qeiajae Canty tossed in 16 points and teammates Julianna Montero and Rianna Talley added 14 each to lead the No. 6 nationally ranked Roadrunner Women's Basketball team to an 86-32 victory over visiting Ocean County College Saturday.

The win was the third in a row for Coach Rich Cooper's Roadrunners, who improved to 13-1 overall this season. Also scoring in double figures was forward Danielle Jeffreys with 10 points.

"We took this opportunity to set up our plays and also make sure everyone got some playing time," said Cooper. "This was a nice effort on the part of our team, and hopefully we will continue on a winning path."

Next up for the Runners will be a road game at Harcum College on Tuesday, January 18th in a 5 pm start.
