![Jeffreys Paces Offense as Roadrunner Women's Basketball Topples Passaic CCC in Season Finale](/sports/wbkb/2021-22/Passaic_Graphics.png?max_width=600)
The Runners' Women's Basketball team prevailed in their season finale at home with an 84-27 win over Passaic CCC on Saturday, February 12.
Freshman forward and former Williamstown High star Danielle Jeffreys led all scorers with 19 points and 5 rebounds. Also scoring in double figures for GSAC champion RCSJ were sophomore forward Trina Deveney-Bethea with 14 points and guards Qeiajae Canty and Nyasia Clark with 10 apiece. Freshman Julianna Montero added 9 points. Canty and Clark controlled the boards with 10 rebounds apiece.
The home team raced out to a 16-4 first quarter lead before extending the advantage to 39-15 at halftime. RCSJ also controlled the second half with a 45-12 surge.
Coach Rich Cooper's Runners finished at 22-2 overall as they eye the upcoming Region 19 playoffs next!
