Clark Leads Scoring Attack as Nationally Ranked Runners Earn Road Win Over RCSJ Cumberland

Guard Nyasia Clark tossed in 18 points and teammates Danielle Jeffreys (15) and JaNazha Clinton (10) also scored in double figures, leading the Roadrunner Women's Basketball team to an 81-45 victory over host RCSJ Cumberland on Dec. 7.

The win was the fourth straight for the Runners, who improved to 7-2 overall. Coach Rich Cooper's team raced out to a commanding 29-12 first quarter lead and then extended the advantage to a 50-24 at halftime.
Forward Maxine Ampofo enjoyed a solid overall game with 7 points and 10 rebounds. Jeffreys also added 10 rebounds to complement her scoring contributions.

Next up for the Runners is a road game at Middlesex College in Edsion on Saturday, Dec. 10th.
