The No. 10 nationally ranked Roadrunner Women's Basketball team registered a 67-38 win over Raritan Valley CC on the road Tuesday, picking up their seventh straight win and closing out 2022 on a high note.
Jonaysia Clark (11) Danielle Jeffreys (11) and Rianna Talley (10) all scored in double figures. Sophomore center Riley Starke also contributed with 9 points and 14 rebounds, including 12 on the defensive boards.
Visiting RCSJ trailed after the first quarter 16-13 but picked up the pace in the second quarter to move ahead 35-28 at halftime. The Runners dominated the second half, outscoring the home team 32-10.
Coach Rich Cooper's team improved to 10-2 overall with the win. The Runners are off until January 6 when they host Bergen Community College in a scheduled 6 pm tip-off.
