In case you missed it, the Roadrunner Women's Basketball team closed out their 2023 regular season by topping host Passaic County Community College, 61-50, Saturday afternoon.

The Runners finished the season with an 18-6 overall record in winning the Garden State Athletic Conference championship.

Guard Destiny Hines led all RCSJ scorers with 11 points while teammates Danielle Jeffreys and Jonaysia Clark added 9 apiece.

The Runners led most of the way but needed to hold off a Passaic comeback. RCSJ led 14-9 after the first period and 27-19 at halftime. They closed out the win by outscoring the home team 18-13 in the final period.

The Runners await the seedings Tuesday in the upcoming Region 19 playoff tournament.
