Millville HS had a historic season and Roadrunner Athletics is proud to announce that senior John Green has signed his official NJCAA National Letter of Intent to attend Rowan College at Gloucester County next season and will play Men's Basketball for Head Coach Will Wareham. Green played in 28 games for the Thunderbolts during his senior season helping to lead the team to the South Jersey Group 4 Final. At 6'7", Green was one of the top big men in South Jersey in the 2018-19 season with a highlight tape that includes high-flying dunks, powerful rebounds, and blocked shots but also a jump shot with touch and permiter skills that should fit nicely in the Roadrunners attack. 

Head Coach Will Wareham on Green: "We are extremely excited to have John sign his letter of intent. He was one of our top targets in the class of 2019. John has unlimited potential on the court as well as in the classroom. He helped lead Millville High School to unprecedented levels this season and we know that he will bring the same qualities to RCGC next year. John is going to have a great two years with us and we have the upmost confidence he will be ready to receive scholarship level interest when his time as a Roadrunner comes to an end."

The Roadrunners are coming off of a season in which they won the Garden State Athletic Conference title and advanced to the NJCAA Region XIX Final Four.

"We work tirelessly in our efforts to recruit prospects and show them all that we are serious about winning and developing in the classroom and in the gym, but our biggest emphasis is placed on building rapport and a level of trust with our prospective players," said Wareham. "That is the foundation of our program and our recruiting model."
