RECAP: Men's Basketball Team Falls to Ocean County College

GAME RECAP

 The Roadrunner's men's basketball team fell short against the Ocean County Vikings. Going into half-time, the Roadrunners were up by 9 due to playing solid on both sides of the ball.

With a few turnovers and missed shots, the Vikings were able to take the lead late in the second half, winning 77 - 72.

Marquist Muse led the offense for the Roadrunners with 17 points, and Tim Schultice, Stan Martin, Nick Sambour, also finished in double figures.

Next up, the Roadrunners host sister school RCSJ-Cumberland at 7:00pm on Tuesday in the Roadrunner Athletic Center.

 

GAME PREVIEW

The Roadrunner men's basketball team will look to win their second game in their last three contests when they visit Ocean County College in a 2:00 pm tart Saturday, November 23.

In a recent loss to unbeaten Northampton County, three RCSJ players performed well, including guard/forward Stan Martin (21 points), Danny Williams (14) and Tim Schultice (11).

The Runners enter Saturday's contest with a 2-5 overall record and 2-2 within the Garden State Athletic Conference. The Vikings come in with a 1-2 overall and region record.
