Men's and Women's Basketball Swept by Powerful Community College of Philadelphia

The Roadrunner men's and women's basketball teams were swept by Community College of Philadelphia in a doubleheader Thursday night at the RCSJ Gloucester Athletic Complex.

Coach Rich Cooper's squad dropped a heart-breaking 55-49 decision to the Colonials. The Runners fell to 12-6 overall and 9-3 in Region XIX.

Coach Will Logan's team fell to 7-13 overall and 7-8 in Region XIX action while CCP improved to 16-1 overall and 12-1 in the Region.

Game Day Previews

The Roadrunner men's and women's basketball teams are back in action Thursday with a doubleheader set vs. Community College of Philadelphia. The women's game kicks off with a 5:00 pm start while the men's contest tips off at 7:00 p.m. These two games will be perhaps the toughest tests of the season for both RCSJ teams -- the Colonials men's team currently leads the Region XIX standings while the women's teams is also one of the top clubs in the Region.

The Roadrunner men's squad, coached by Will Logan, is currently riding a five-game win streak and has a 7-7 Region mark. Coach Rich Cooper's women's squad enters their contest with a 12-5 overall record.
