GAME DAY: Roadrunner Men's Basketball Suffers Third Straight Defeat in Loss to Mercer County

The Rowan Gloucester men's basketball team could not get on track Thursday night, falling to visiting Mercer County College, 56-44. in suffering their third straight loss and fourth in five games.

Coach Will Logan's team fell to 8-16 overall. Forward Jeremy Fleming led the Roadrunner scorers with 18 points while teammate Tim Schultice added 12.

The Vikings raced to a 32-24 halftime lead and never looked back.

Next up for the Runners is a 2 pm contest at Middlesex Saturday, February 1.

Game Day Preview

The RCSJ-Gloucester men's basketball team will try and bounce back from a tough loss to Union County when they host Mercer County Community College in a 7 pm start Thursday night at the Roadrunner Athletic Complex.

After stunning RCSJ-Cumberland the previous week at Rowan University, coach Will Logan's team dropped a heart-breaking 94-90 loss to Union on January 28. The Runners still have a slim chance of securing a Region XIX playoff berth with three games remaining.

The Runners have win six of their last nine contests. Key players for Coach Logan's team include sophomore guards Alex Angeles and Stan Martin, along with forwards Nick Sambour and Tim Schultice.
