Balanced Scoring Attack Lifts Roadrunner Men's Basketball to Key Win Over Passaic

The Roadrunner Men's Basketball team jumped back into the win column in a huge way, rolling to an 83-67 GSAC victory over Passaic County College on the road Saturday thanks to a balanced scoring attack.

Five players hit double figures led by Khayri Ransom, who deposited 22 points, and Quantavious Rodgers, who collected 14 points and 7 assists. Also contributing were Nick Sambour and Jeremy Young with 11 points each, and Laddis Taylor with 10. Freshman Ryan Skeie came off the bench to pick up 7 points and 5 rebounds.

The Runners improved to 2-3 overall to halt a three-game losing streak.

"This was a great win for our team and made the ride home a lot more fun," said Coach Will Logan. "We are primarily a team of freshmen, and we're still learning how to finish. This was a great step in the right direction."

Next up for the Runners will be a road game vs. RCSJ Cumberland at Rowan University on Tuesday night in a 7 pm start.
