Jeremy Young pumped in 24 points to lead four players in double figures as the Roadrunner Men's Basketball won their fifth straight with an 80-73 win at Bergen County in a key GSAC and Region 19 battle. The Runners improved to 8-5 overall.
The Runners started slow but held a three-point halftime lead. RCSJ led by as many as 17 in the second half and held off a late Bergen rally for the win.
Also scoring in twin figures were Laddis Taylor and Khayri Ransom with 14 each while Daniel Wellington added 13 to lead a balanced scoring attack.
Next up for the Runners will be a road match at Brookdale Community College on Saturday in a 2 noon start.
