Roadrunner Men's Basketball Standout Tim Schultice Signs with NCAA Division III Immaculata

Signed, sealed and delivered! Outgoing freshman basketball standout Tim Schultice, who enjoyed a solid campaign recently under Roadrunners' coach Will Logan, will bring his talents to the Immaculata University program this coming winter.

"I wanted to become part of a four-year team, so this was an opportunity I couldn't pass on," said Schultice a 6-foot, 3-inch forward out of Sicklerville, NJ who will now play under Mighty Macs' coach Jason Hyman.

"Being here at RCSJ helped me a lot," said Schultice. "I grew a lot with the help of Coach Will (Logan) and our coaching staff -- they were phenomenal in helping me with conditioning and getting used to the faster pace of the college game. Now I'm ready to contribute at a four-year program."

Tim enjoyed solid production in his brief junior college career, averaging 12.6 points and 9.6 rebounds per game. He proved effective as a shot blocker on the defensive side and was rock solid under the boards.

As a scholastic player he led Timber Creek High School to a 14-13 overall record, including two South Jersey Group 3 playoff wins, during his senior year.  He stepped up offensively in several key late season games and blossomed into one of the team's top contributors entering the playoffs.  Tim played a total of three varsity basketball seasons while also playing football.

Moving on to Immaculata, Schultice -- whose Mom and Dad were former players and sister Dakota a recent standout at Timber Creek -- will major in Exercise Science.

Head coach Will Logan will miss Schultice's dominating presence in his lineup, but is happy to see him advance to the next level.

"Tim was the motor of our team -- the hardest working player who always led by example," said Logan. "He was who we counted on to make the big plays. He developed so much over the course of the year, and the coaching staff is so happy that he received this opportunity. I know Tim will excel in his new role at Immaculata."
